A Celebration of A-Beauty, African Luxury, and Wellness—Through Fragrance, Story, and Soul
This July, we had the honor of showcasing Ambiance by Talata at ESSENCE Festival of Culture 2025 in New Orleans—a global celebration of Black creativity, community, and cultural legacy.
For us, this was not just a trade event—it was a defining moment. A convergence of African Beauty, storytelling, and conscious luxury on one of the world’s most iconic cultural stages.
As a luxury fragrance and wellness brand rooted in African heritage and indigenous ingredients, our presence at ESSENCEFest was both symbolic and deeply personal. We brought with us more than products—we brought rituals.
Guests were welcomed into a multisensory experience of A-Beauty at its finest, exploring our Signature Quartet of perfumes and our coveted bath and body range—from velvet-soft body butters to aromatic body oils, scrubs, and hydrating washes.
Crafted in Ghana, each formula is a return to self—made with African botanical treasures like shea butter, baobab oil, and aloe vera, and perfumed with notes that speak to the spirit of the continent.
Among the most loved were:
BE NICE – Sea Salt & Freesia (fresh, breezy, and luminous)
BE ZEN – Matcha Tea & Benzoin Honey (herbal calm and clarity)
BE MINE – Vanilla & West African Shea (a soft, sensual nod to closeness)
BE MORE – Madagascar Vetiver & Smoked Woods (a bold scent for quiet power)
The conversations throughout the weekend reminded us of our why: to use scent as ceremony, to tell African stories through fragrance and care. One guest captured it perfectly:
“This doesn’t smell like a trend. It smells like a truth I’ve always known.”
To everyone who visited, explored, purchased—or simply paused to take in the aroma—thank you.
This was not just a moment for us as a brand. It was a reminder that Africa is not just part of the global beauty conversation. She is defining it.
This is African Wellness. This is African Luxury. This is A-Beauty, redefined.
